MCMC investigating offensive post on Royal Institution


PUTRAJAYA: The Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission (MCMC) is investigating an individual suspected of posting extremely offensive comments on Facebook that touched on the royal institution regarding the issue of the appointment of the Chief Justice.

MCMC said on Monday (July 21) that the person's statement was recorded at the Kampung Melayu Subang police station in Selangor and a mobile phone with a SIM card was also seized to assist in the investigation.
