Nearly 190,000 TVET applications for July intake

PETALING JAYA: There were 189,304 applications for Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) courses run by the government for the July intake this year, says Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi (pic).

The Deputy Prime Minister, who chairs a national committee on TVET, said this was an increase from about 146,000 applications from the previous intake, which reflected an increasing interest among youth towards these fields.
