Man fatally stabbed in Kampung Kubu Gajah, suspect arrested


PETALING JAYA: A 33-year-old man has been fatally stabbed in Kampung Kubu Gajah here and police have arrested a suspect.

Sungai Buloh OCPD Supt Mohd Hafiz Muhammad Nor said the incident occurred on June 25 after the 40-year-old suspect and victim got into an argument at a house in Kampung Kubu Gajah.

He said police received a distress call and dispatched a patrol team to the scene.

The victim was found unconscious in the living room with stab wounds to the left of his chest.

"Police arrested the suspect at the scene and forensics seized a knife allegedly used to stab the victim," he said.

Investigations showed that both the suspect and victim had just arrived from Kelantan three days ago.

The suspect has been remanded for six days until July 1 and investigations are being conducted under Section 302 of the Penal Code for murder.
