1.3 million govt job applications expected this year

BUTTERWORTH: Pensions may be a thing of the past, but the dream of a government job is alive and well.

This is evident with applications to the civil service expected to hit 1.3 million this year, about 100,000 more than the year before, according to the Public Service Commission (SPA).
