Cops, JPJ on the ball over road violations

KUALA LUMPUR: With the big rush home for Hari Raya Aidiladha, police have launched Op Lancar to ensure road safety and smooth traffic flow.

A total of 1,858 police personnel will be deployed to locations that are expected to experience traffic congestion on highways and federal, state and municipal roads, said Bukit Aman Traffic Investigation and Enforcement Department (JSPT).
