Vietnamese woman dies after falling from 13th floor apartment in Sarawak


KUCHING: A Vietnamese woman fell to her death from an apartment building in Bintawa on Saturday (May 17) night.

Sarawak Fire and Rescue Department said it received a distress call at about 8.20pm concerning a foreign national who fell down from a building on Jalan Daya KG.

"When firefighters arrived at the scene, they found the woman's body on the first floor of the apartment. She was believed to have fallen down from the 13th floor," it said.

The body has been handed over to the police for further action.
