MACC awaits forensic report of alleged corruption involving Sabah assemblymen

KUALA LUMPUR: Graft Busters are waiting for the forensic report involving ten video recordings linked to allegations of corruption involving several Sabah state assemblymen.

Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) chief commissioner Tan Sri Azam Baki said the investigation is still ongoing and has not been concluded.

"I expect the report will be completed soon as the forensic team is analysing all 10 video recordings.

"As I mentioned previously, eight state assemblymen have been called up to give their statements.

"We hope all parties will be patient and not speculate on the case," he told reporters after attending the graduation ceremony for participants of the Certified Integrity Officer (CEIO) programme on Tuesday (April 22).

On April 10, Azam previously said 10 videos involving the case have been submitted to the MACC for analysis.
