Bung questions investor exit from controversial cement factory in central Sabah’s Kuamut


KOTA KINABALU: A project touted as a game-changer for Sabah’s economy - a cement plant in the remote Kg Kawayoi Pinangah, Tongod - is now under scrutiny following claims that the investor has pulled out.

Datuk Seri Bung Moktar Radin (Umno-Lamag) said the Sabah government must explain what has happened to the factory project, alleging that the company involved has backed out.
