Floods: Foreign worker fatally electrocuted in Shah Alam

SHAH ALAM: The flash floods that hit the area on Friday (April 11) morning led to tragedy after a man was found dead, believed to have been electrocuted.

Shah Alam OCPD Asst Comm Mohd Iqbal Ibrahim said in a statement that passers-by found the man's body along Jalan Padu 25/127.

"Investigations showed that the area was a storehouse for construction material and was also used by the deceased as his home.

"The 27-year-old Sri Lankan was found lying face down near the carcass of a dog that we believe was also electrocuted," he said.
