Mother and daughter badly hurt in Tawau crash

KOTA KINABALU: A family’s journey home to celebrate Hari Raya in Tawau took a dire turn when their car collided with an oncoming four-wheel drive, leaving the mother and a young daughter seriously injured.

The crash happened at around 4.02pm on Wednesday along Jalan Tibau/Maliau Basin near Tawau involving a Perodua Aruz and a Toyota Hilux.
