Man loses almost RM30,000 via ‘hypnosis’

KOTA KINABALU: While modern thieves are turning to artificial intelligence, three men in Tawau opted for a more traditional method – hypnosis – to control their victim’s mind before making off with his cash.

The crime took place last Wednesday at a 24-hour convenience store in Jalan Haji Karim, Fajar, where a man was allegedly hypnotised and robbed of nearly RM30,000.
