KUALA LUMPUR: The Health Ministry will issue a circular soon to allow assistant medical officers (MOs) to issue prescriptions for basic medicines for common ailments, says Datuk Seri Dr Dzulkefly Ahmad.
The said the move is part of the ministry's efforts to recognise the role of assistant MOs.
