Aifa chatbot verified over 57,000 text messages in just two weeks, says Fahmi


KUALA LUMPUR: The Artificial Intelligence Fact-Check Assistance (Aifa) has assessed 57,782 text messages for fake news in the first two weeks since its launch in February this year, says Communications Minister Fahmi Fadzil.

Fahmi said that Aifa, which was developed by the Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission (MCMC), has processed an average of 2,140 messages daily for fake news.
