Ipoh cops seek public help in locating missing teen


IPOH: The police are seeking the public's assistance to locate a 17-year-old girl who has gone missing here since Jan 26.

The police believe that the teenager, T Poovenessari, had left her house at Taman Semarak here, to be with her boyfriend, prior to her disappearance.

Ipoh OCPD Asst Comm Abang Zainal Abidin Abang Ahmad said those who have information on the girl can contact investigating officer Sjn Rafidah Abdul Rashid at 013-731 2477 or 05-245 1500.

"Those with information of her whereabouts can also come forward or contact their nearest police station," he said in a statement on Tuesday (Feb 4).
