ACP Nazri said that the raiding team caught the suspects red-handed transferring fuel from several vehicles to tanks at the illegal fuel depot.

"Our investigations found that the diesel was transferred from the vehicles to the storage tank and then put into a lorry tanker.

"We believe that the premises were being used as a storage place for subsidised diesel," he said on Tuesday (Jan 28).

He said that the suspects could not produce any valid permit or documents to fill and possess diesel from the Trade and Living Costs Ministry.
