GEORGE TOWN: M Summit is ushering in the Chinese New Year with a slew of activities and the launch of Tuan Pavilion, their latest residential venture in Air Itam to celebrate their 25th anniversary
M Summit chief marketing officer Moh Wei Ken said the launch to be held on the third day of Chinese New Year conveys its name in Mandarin meaning togetherness, an essential part of the year when families reunite and gather.
"It comes from the saying 'Tuan Yuan' meaning togetherness.
"While Tuan is also meant to mean ‘Tuan Rumah’".
"It is a multi-generational living concept boasting units with four rooms.
"The prices range from RM600,000 to RM800,000 with units from 1,100sq ft to 1,500sq ft," he said when visiting The Star’s Pitt Street office to hand over goodies for Chinese New Year.
Moh said the development faces Kek Lok Si Temple, a scenic plus which lends well to its storied neighbourhood.
He added that M Summit will host a series of activities to celebrate its anniversary, including corporate social responsibility programmes throughout the year.
He handed over a Chinese New Year hamper to Star Media Group deputy news editor Arnold Loh as M Summit Group corporate communications manager Ng Su-Ann, public relations and corporate communications assistant manager Carolyn Chew and corporate communications executive Shuhaib Abdul Walad joined them.
Meanwhile, LAM Research Corporation public relations consultant Timothy Wong also handed over a Chinese New Year hamper to Loh at The Star’s Pitt Street office in Jalan Masjid Kapitan Keling, recently.
Lam Research, based in Batu Kawan, manufactures machinery used for making semiconductors.
Star Media Group client brand marketing (bureaus) general manager Simone Liong also welcomed representatives from the Malaysia Entrepreneurs Development Association (PUMM) Penang chapter to The Star’s Pitt Street office for a festive drop-by.
The PUMM delegation included chairperson Ellva Tan, deputy chairman KD Wong and treasurer Tang Kah Teng, along with other key members of the association.
