Old temple to hold consecration ceremony

THE 125-year-old Sri Thandayuthapani Temple in Sentul will hold its seventh grand Maha Kumbhabhishekam (consecration ceremony) next month, Malaysia Nanban reported.

The temple committee said the event will be held on Feb 3 after months of renovation works.

Its chairman SOK Singaram said it will start with a series of poojas from Jan 29 until the consecration ceremony is completed.

He said the last consecration 12 years ago saw thousands of devotees and visitors turn up, with more expected this time around.
