Contractor scammed out of RM107,000 in online job fraud


JOHOR BARU: A 50-year-old local contractor has lost RM107,000 after falling victim to an online job scam through the "b2wave.com" application.

Johor Baru South OCPD Asst Comm Raub Selamat said the incident began on Dec 11 when the victim received a call from an individual named Li Jiaqi, who offered a lucrative online sales job requiring no capital.
