ACTOR Farid Kamil (pic) refuses to divorce his wife Diana Danielle as he believes his love for her still runs deep, Utusan Malaysia reported.

“I love my wife and children, so the struggle must continue,” the 43-year-old said at the Federal Territory Syariah Lower Court yesterday.

Diana, 32, also an actor, has said their marriage is hopeless, but Farid said he still loves her.

Previously, Diana stated her disgust towards Farid’s actions in prolonging the divorce proceedings.

According to the actress, she had given her husband the opportunity to improve their relationship but it was wasted.

Earlier, during the first claim of divorce proceedings, Farid refused to divorce Diana, causing the Syariah Lower Court here to order the celebrity couple to appoint representatives for the Reconciliation Committee (JKP), which will seek mediation to resolve the matter.

The JKP consists of family members who are close to the couple, aimed at providing advice and finding solutions to their marital problems.

The court then set March 24, 2025, for the next mention and the JKP report.

> Singer Mawi’s concert postponement recently due to floods raised speculation among netizens that tickets for the show weren’t selling well, according to Kosmo!.The 43-year-old singer, whose full name is Asmawi Ani, initially scheduled his concert Tsumawi Live in Kuala Lumpur for Jan 25 next year, but it has been postponed until July 2025 to show respect for flood victims in several states.

The concert’s postponement was made by the organiser, Showtag Asia, through a posting on its Instagram account.

“The latest report from the Malaysian Meteorological Department stated that the northeast monsoon is expected to continue until March 2025, making the original date not suitable to proceed with the show,” said Showtag Asia.

The organiser added that the decision would also give them more time to make thorough preparations.

However, some netizens think there are other reasons for the postponement.

“Just say the tickets aren’t selling. The reason given doesn’t make sense,” commented one netizen.
