Pahang state secretary Datuk Seri Zulkifli Yaacob said that the mission includes approximately 400 volunteers, comprising employees from state departments, statutory bodies and the Pahang Social Action Council (MTSP), all assigned to aid areas affected by the floods.

The primary focus of the mission will be on cleaning up affected houses and schools, as well as distributing aid to communities in need.

"This initiative aims to expedite the recovery process in affected areas, with a particular focus on the Tumpat district, which involves the Kampung Sri Bayu area," he explained in a statement.

Zulkifli highlighted the state government's resolution to assist the affected communities, particularly in dealing with the impact of the disaster. This will be implemented through the cooperation and support of all parties.
