KUALA LUMPUR: Seven suspects have been arrested after allegedly robbing a house and fleeing with a car.

Ampang Jaya OCPD Asst Comm Mohd Azam Ismail, in a statement today, said the arrests were made following the robbery in Taman Dato Ahmad Razali on Nov 26.

Several watches, a wallet, and the victim’s car were stolen, leading to losses of around RM58,000.

"On Dec 5, the police arrested seven suspects aged between 27 and 45 in Cheras and Air Keroh, Melaka.

A car that we believed belonged to the victim, as well as other reported stolen items, were seized.

Police investigations showed that the stolen goods were due to be sold.

All suspects were also found to have prior drug and criminal offences.

Urine tests conducted on all seven suspects showed all tested positive for drugs.

They have been remanded until Dec 12," he said.
