Man drowns after falling off boat in Klang


PETALING JAYA: A man drowned after falling off a boat in Kampung Rantau Panjang in Klang.

Selangor Fire and Rescue Department assistant director (Operations) Ahmad Mukhlis Mokhtar, when contacted, said that the drowning on Saturday (Nov 24) occurred along Kampung Rantau Panjang.

"The operation commander reported that the 53-year-old victim had fallen off his dinghy. At around 1pm on Saturday, the body was found and was brought to shore," he said.

He added that the police will conduct follow-up work.
