Three injured as lorry rams into 12 vehicles on MRR2


GOMBAK: Two men and a woman suffered minor injuries after a lorry rammed into 11 cars and a motorcycle on the Middle Ring Road 2 (MRR2) here.

Selangor Fire and Rescue Department assistant director Ahmad Mukhlis Mukhtar said a distress call was received at 3.09pm on Sunday (Nov 17).

"Eight firemen from the Selayang fire station were deployed to the scene.

"The accident involved a five tonne-lorry, which rammed into 11 cars and a motorcycle," he said in a statement on Sunday.

Three victims aged between 43 and 65 suffered minor injuries.

"They were handed over to medical personnel for further treatment," he said.
