Muar woman loses RM124,400 in investment scam

MUAR: A 50-year-old woman has fallen victim to a Telegram investment scam, losing RM124,400 over a series of transactions.

Muar OCPD Asst Comm Raiz Mukhliz Azman Aziz said that the woman joined a Telegram investment group on Nov 6, after being approached by a self-proclaimed manager offering a high-return investment in Bitcoin.
