Family appeals to public for help to find missing project engineer

PETALING JAYA: The family of Siew Tuck Ming, a 36-year-old project manager at a construction site, is appealing for help tracing him after losing contact since Monday (Nov 11) evening.

Siew's wife, Tung Mee Teng, said her husband, who is a project engineer at a construction site in Dengkil, left for work at around 7:30am as usual but became unreachable by the evening.

Despite maintaining communication with colleagues throughout the morning, he stopped responding to calls in the evening, including a message from his wife.

"Checks with his colleagues found that he was still in touch in the afternoon.

"He had agreed to a colleague's dinner plan in a call at 5pm. He also read a message I sent him at 3pm, but he didn't reply," she said.

However, Siew was unreachable when his colleague called him again at 6pm.

Siew's sister Kah Mun said the family has since lodged a police report.

"We are seeking public assistance through the media and social channels to locate my brother," she said.

Siew, who has tanned skin and is about 170cm in height, was last seen wearing a light blue company uniform and jeans, driving a black Toyota Hilux with the licence plate WC7773F, which carried a red stripe.

Those who have seen him or his car can contact Tung (016-442 3963) or his colleagues Dino (012-296 5399) and Farrah (012-811 5744).
