DCP Zulkafli said the drugs seized included 18,992g worth of heroin, which were kept in 42 transparent plastic bags and 961g worth of compressed ganja leaves.

He said the first suspect, 41, who was arrested earlier, had brought the police to the house where they kept the drugs.

"He tested positive for methamphetamine.

"Both tested negative for drugs but the last suspect had three previous crime cases.

"The drugs are kept and repackaged at the house before being distributed locally and in the state.

"The drugs can be used by about 26,000 people," he added.

DCP Zulkafli said the first suspect is being remanded until Nov 11 while the other two would be remanded until Nov 13.

"The case is being investigated under Section 38B of the Dangerous Drugs Act.

"We called on the people to continue channelling information on drug abuse to us so that actions can be taken," he added.
