Man killed after losing control of bike in JB


JOHOR BARU: A man was killed on the spot after losing control of the motorcycle ridden by him at Jalan Kempas Lama-Selong near here.

Johor Baru North acting OCPD Supt Azrol Anuar Nor said the incident took place on Thursday (Nov 7) at 12.05am.

“The victim was travelling from Setia Tropika towards Senai when he skidded and fell to the middle of the road,’’ he said in a statement.

Supt Azrol Anuar said the 58-year-old local man suffered serious injuries as a result of the accident.

He urged those with information on the accident to contact investigating officer Insp Muhammad Hafiz Aminuddin at 011-35807871.

The case is being investigated under Section 41 (1) of the Road Transport Act 1987 for reckless driving.
