Greater transparency needed in job placement for junior docs, says MMA

THE lack of transparency in the placement process of junior doctors in permanent positions has led to questions and disappointment among healthcare professionals, says the Malaysian Medical Association (MMA).

Its president Datuk Dr Kalwinder Singh Khaira said the selection criteria must be made clearer, and the process streamlined to prevent system crashes and availability issues that have caused frustration among those who served diligently.
