Man killed after colliding crashing motorcycle into back of lorry in Johor

JOHOR BARU: A 39-year-old man was killed after he crashed his motorcycle into the back of a lorry at KM 42.2 of the Senai-Desaru Expressway, here.

Seri Alam OCPD Supt Mohd Sohaimi Ishak said the incident occurred at 2.15pm on Saturday (Oct 26).

“The lorry, driven by a 55-year-old local man, had reportedly come to a stop on the left shoulder of the road due to a jammed accelerator pedal.

Upon inspection, the lorry driver found that a motorcycle travelling in the same direction had collided with the right rear section of his vehicle,” he said in a statement here on Sunday (Oct 27).

The motorcyclist sustained severe facial injuries. He was later pronounced dead at the scene by the paramedics.
