KUANTAN: A Cambodian ice cream vendor lost his life when a tree fell on him while he was riding his motorcycle along Jalan Air Terjun Sungai Pandan, Felda Panching, on Saturday (Oct 19), Malay language daily Sinar Harian reports.

A team from the Taman Tas Fire Station was dispatched to the scene to provide assistance.

The victim had been extricated by members of the public before the fire brigade arrived, but he was pronounced dead at the scene.
