INTERNET users accused a man of sexual harassment after he was seen bumping into multiple women at a pasar malam in Cheras, Kuala Lumpur, Sin Chew Daily reported.
Video footage of the incident, which went viral on Xiaohongshu, showed a man dressed in a light coral T-shirt walking alone at a night market.
Whenever there was a woman walking in his direction, the man would move closer and “bump” into her, but he would avoid men.
The uploader on the social media platform trailed the man for 10 minutes before he realised what was happening, stopped his act, then casually began browsing at a nearby stall.
A few netizens commented that a man had accidentally bumped into them at the pasar malam that very night, but they weren’t sure if it was intentional.
> Hong Kong boy band member Edan Lui has finally addressed intense speculation about him dating Malaysian artiste Lin Min Chen, China Press reported.
Lui, 27, posted on social media that he could no longer bear to see online comments abusing Lin, 34, over the matter.
“I do not want her reputation to be affected. This is my final response on the matter. Min Chen is a nice girl. I have feelings for her and I am courting her.
“I hope there is room for a relationship to develop in the future. However, Min Chen and I are just friends and nothing more for now.
“I hope everyone can give us space and not speculate any further,” he wrote.
According to rumours, the two were in a secret relationship and travelling together in Taiwan and Europe.
Based in Taiwan, Lin – who was signed to a record label in 2015 – has released several albums and appeared in TV series and films, with the most recent being A Moment of Happiness (2020), One Second Champion (2021) and Table for Six (2022).
