PETALING JAYA: MCA president Datuk Seri Dr Wee Ka Siong has extended birthday greetings to Melaka Yang di-Pertua Negeri Tun Mohd Ali Rustam who turns 75 this year.
In a Facebook post, Dr Wee who visited Mohd Ali, wished him the best of health.
"Happy birthday to Mohd Ali, the Yang di-Pertua of Melaka.
"Wishing you a long life and good health," said Dr Wee on Saturday (Aug 24).
He was accompanied by Klebang assemblyman and MCA vice-president Datuk Lim Ban Hong, Machap Jaya assemblyman and Melaka exco member Ngwe Hee Sem and Wanita MCA chief Wong You Fong.
Mohd Ali was first appointed as the seventh Yang di-Pertua Negeri of Melaka on June 4, 2020, replacing Tun Mohd Khalil Yaakob.
His reappointment is for a four-year term, effective June 4, 2024.
