KUALA LUMPUR: MCA must focus on strengthening its organisational structure and the quality of its members at every level, says Datuk Seri Dr Wee Ka Siong.
The MCA president stated that this would help the party face various political challenges and remain relevant.
"The party convention provides a valuable platform for me to convey the party's direction, stance, and efforts in an increasingly dynamic political arena today," he said about attending the Kelantan MCA convention on Thursday (Aug 8) night in a Facebook post.
He shared that he was honoured to have had the opportunity to officiate the Kelantan MCA convention as the beginning of the MCA state conventions for 2024, in Kota Baru, Kelantan.
"We (MCA) must focus on strengthening our organisational structure and the quality of our members at every level," he affirmed.
Dr Wee shared that joining him at the event were MCA Deputy President Datuk Dr Mah Hang Soon, MCA vice-presidents Datuk Seri Dr Wee Jeck Seng, Datuk Lim Ban Hong, Datuk Lawrence Low, and Datuk Tan Teik Cheng among other MCA leaders.
