Child neglect case to go to trial as father's guilty plea was conditional, rules court

JOHOR BARU: The Sessions Court has dismissed the guilty plea of a father who allegedly neglected his teenage son by leaving him to sleep on the sidewalk of their flat for two nights.

Judge Datuk Che Wan Zaidi Che Wan Ibrahim said that the guilty plea by the 56-year-old father was conditional, and the case must therefore go to trial.
