Decomposed body found on road side from prior road accident

HULU SELANGOR: A decomposing body found at the side of the road has been discovered to be from a prior road accident.

Following investigations into the discovery on June 15 in some shrubbery along Jalan Besar Felda, Hulu Selangor deputy OCPD Dept Supt Mohd Asri Mohd Yunus said that the case has been linked to a missing persons report.

"Investigations showed that on June 9, a report was lodged by a man alleging that his father had gone missing.

"It is suspected that the victim lost control of his motorcycle along the road. He then died at the scene of the accident," he said.

A post-mortem showed that the cause of death was due to severe chest injuries.

"Those with information on the case are urged to come forward to aid investigations," he said.
