Violation uncovered before diesel price float


Breaking the rule: Enforcement officers found a petrol station in Simpang Renggam, Kluang, selling diesel in containers larger than 20-litres in capacity to a buyer.

KLUANG: A fuel station in Simpang Renggam here has violated the law by selling diesel in containers with volumes exceeding 20 litres each to a single buyer.

The Johor director of the Domestic Trade and Cost of Living Ministry, Lilis Saslinda Pornomo, said the buyer did not hold the special permit from the ministry that was needed to purchase diesel in containers of over 20 litres.
