Let police investigate, Dr Wee tells Teresa Kok

PETALING JAYA: The police must be allowed to investigate if a death threat is made, says Datuk Dr Seri Wee Ka Siong.

The MCA president told Seputeh MP Teresa Kok to leave his name out of anything to do with the death threat made against her recently.

"Please do not simply mention my name," he said.

He also said his mastery of the Malay language was much better than that seen in the badly-written note sent to her.

"Since you’ve already lodged police report, let the police investigate the case and take action," he said in a Facebook post on Monday (May 20).

During a press conference earlier on Monday, Kok had said that she did not know why the threatening note and bullets were to her as she had not said or done anything controversial, adding that she only had had a verbal spat with the MCA president.
