IPOH: Thousands of jobs and economic opportunities will be available to youth in Perak as more development projects are in the pipeline, says Mentri Besar Datuk Seri Saarani Mohamad.

Among the developments are the Automotive High-Tech Valley (AHTV) in Tanjung Malim, Silver Valley Technology Park in Chemor, Ipoh Raya Integrated Park in Simpang Pulai and Lumut Maritime Industrial City, he said.

“By 2030, there will be thousands of job opportunities available.

“I hope I won’t hear grouses about there being none.

“Like in Tanjung Malim, about 50,000 people are expected to move there or to Sungkai, Bidor and even Kampar with their families and children,” he said during the launch of the state-level National Youth Day celebration at the state Youth and Sports Complex hall here yesterday.
