Intrepid and Respect working to protect Sabah’s pygmy elephants

KOTA KINABALU: Efforts are underway to protect the remaining 1,500 pygmy elephants in the world, a majority of which are in Sabah.

Two bodies – Intrepid Foundation and Responsible Elephant Conservation Trust (Respect) – are diligently managing the intricate challenge of human-elephant conflict.
