NO primary schools would be closed due to low number of students, Deputy Education Minister Wong Kah Woh assured in a Malaysia Nanban report.
He also said funds would continue pouring in for these schools, adding that the government provides RM38,000 for the development of a school without looking at the student number.
“There are 3,038 schools with fewer than 150 students. Perak alone has 419 schools,” he said during a visit to SJKT Ladang Sungai Samak in Ulu Bernam, Perak.
