Elderly man's body found after falling to death near Ipoh flats

IPOH: A 91-year-old man is believed to have fallen to his death near the Kinta Heights Flats here.

Ipoh OCPD Asst Comm Abang Zainal Abidin Abang Ahmad said the victim's body was found in an alley near the flats by a security guard on Wednesday (April 17) at about 8.20am.

"The victim is believed to have fallen from the 13th floor of the flats," he said in a statement.

"Checks conducted on the victim's body also found no foul play," he added.

ACP Abang Zainal Abidin said the case had been categorised as sudden death pending a post-mortem report.

"Those with information about the case are urged to come forward or contact investigating officer Asst Supt Mohd Sahran Termizi at 019-444 4514 to help with the investigation," he added.
