PETALING JAYA: Unity government leaders attended a special Hari Raya Aidilfitri dinner before attending a special secretariat meeting.
"Today, I attended the unity government secretariat meeting, chaired by Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim,” wrote MCA president Datuk Dr Seri Wee Ka Siong in a Facebook post on Wednesday (April 17).
The Ayer Itam MP said that the meeting was held to discuss the country’s current issues.
He added that: “Before the meeting, the secretariat had arranged for a special dinner for the leaders to celebrate Hari Raya Aidilfitri together and share the festive joy".
Along with the post, Dr Wee also shared photos of himself with the unity government’s top leaders including Umno president Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi, Umno deputy president Datuk Seri Mohamad Hasan, Amanah president Datuk Seri Mohamad Sabu and DAP secretary-general Anthony Loke.
