Tunku Ismail grants audience to two Singaporean Ministers


JOHOR BARU: Johor Regent Tunku Ismail Sultan Ibrahim has granted an audience to two Singaporean Ministers in conjunction with Hari Raya Aidilfitri here.

Singapore Health Minister Ong Ye Kung and Transport Minister Chee Hong Tat represented Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong in the meeting at Istana Bukit Serene here on Wednesday (April 10).

The guests from across the border were also treated to a luncheon during the meeting.

Earlier, the Johor Regent also performed prayers at Masjid Negeri Sultan Abu Bakar here with Johor Mentri Besar Datuk Onn Hafiz Ghazi and more than a thousand others.

They were joined by Tunku Temenggong of Johor Tunku Idris Iskandar, Tunku Panglima of Johor Tunku Abdul Rahman, Tunku Putera of Johor Tunku Abu Bakar and Tunku Puteri of Johor's husband, Dennis Muhammad Abdullah.
