PETALING JAYA: MCA president Datuk Seri Dr Wee Ka Siong visited the Hari Raya open house of Johor Mentri Besar Datuk Onn Hafiz Ghazi on Wednesday (April 10).
"Its my first activity this morning and it was a joy to see people of many races, government leaders, political and community leaders and foreign diplomats turning up in conjunction with the Syawal celebration," he said in a Facebook post.
"Also present were His Highness Tunku Temenggong Johor Tunku Idris Iskandar Sultan Ibrahim and Tunku Abu Bakar Sultan Ibrahim at the Aidilfitri 2024 Open House," he added.
Dr Wee also said that he hopes that interracial relationships among Malaysians can be enhanced so that all can work together as a team for the betterment of the country.
Johor MCA leaders present were exco members Ling Tian Soon and Lee Ting Han, Senator Datuk Lim Pay Hen, and state assemblymen Tan Eng Meng (Pekan Nenas) and Tan Chong (Bekok).
"Selamat Hari Raya Aidilfitri, maaf zahir dan batin," added Dr Wee, who is Ayer Hitam MP.
