SICC earns spot in Asia Book of Records with over 850 international dishes

KOTA KINABALU: A buffet spread of over 850 different types of dishes won the Sabah International Convention Centre (SICC) an entry in the Asia Book of Records under the “Maximum Dishes Prepared by International Cuisines” category, recently.

The menu, prepared for its Taste of The World Ramadan Buffet, features traditional dishes with a modern twist.

The wife of Sabah Chief Minister Datin Seri Juliah Salag presented the certificate at SICC here on Thursday (April 4).

“In addition to strengthening SICC's status as a renowned culinary destination, it demonstrates our commitment to culinary innovation and excellence while celebrating cultural richness and fostering community engagement.

“This milestone will catalyse future culinary innovations and deepen community collaborations,” said SICC chief executive officer Datuk Dr Rosmawati Lasuki.
