Nadma ops director DCP Mohd Khairi to be new T'ganu police chief


PETALING JAYA: Terengganu will have a new police chief next month.

Police secretary Deputy Comm Alzafny Ahmad said the latest transfer exercise will see National Disaster Management Agency (Nadma) Operations director Deputy Comm Datuk Mohd Khairi Khairudin appointed state police chief.

Current Terengganu police chief DCP Datuk Mazli Mazlan will take over his position in Nadma.

Cheras district police chief Asst Comm Zam Halim Jamaluddin will be promoted to Senior Asst Comm and made the new Maktab Teknik Muar commandant.

ACP Ravindar Singh Sarban Singh, who is currently in the Bukit Aman Management Department's administration division, will take over as Cheras OCPD.

Perak Commercial Crime Investigation Department (CCID) chief Supt Hasbullah Abd Rahman will be promoted to ACP and take over as Selangor CCID chief.

All transfers and promotions will take effect on May 6, DCP Alzafny said in a statement on Friday (April 5).
