Man falls to death from 13th floor of Johor hotel


BATU PAHAT: A man is believed to have slipped and fell to his death at a hotel here along Jalan Bakau Condong here.

Batu Pahat OCPD Asst Comm Ismail Dollah said police were notified by the public about a man who had accidentally fallen at the location around 3pm on Friday (March 22).

"The man’s body was found behind the hotel lying on the ground where he may have fallen from the 13th floor of the building.

"Initial investigations believe the man is a local citizen based on the BCG mark in his left arm. Until now, the identity of the deceased is still unknown but he might be in his 20’s," he said here on Friday (March 22).

ACP Ismail said the victim’s body has been sent to Hospital Sultanah Nora Ismail here for a postmortem.

He added the police did not suspect any foul play on the case, which has been classified as sudden death.
