THE war of words between Taiwanese actress Barbie Hsu and her ex-husband Wang Xiaofei is raging on even two years after their divorce, reported China Press.
In the most recent tiff, Wang accused Hsu of cheating and claimed that she sent Korean DJ Koo Jun-yup – now her husband – gifts worth NT$12mil (RM1.78mil) when they were still married.
He showed a parcel label addressed to Koo in Seoul dated August 2021, which was three months before their divorce that November.
Hsu denied the accusations, claiming that Wang was the one cheated while they were married.
“The one who cheated during our marriage was you, not me. I did swipe your credit card in anger after we were divorced but all of the transactions were performed with your permission.
“I have never bought anything for my now husband with your credit card,” she added.
Hsu also claimed that Wang was a wife beater and had, during a drunken fit, pushed her to the ground while she was pregnant.
In response, Wang claimed that he did not push her but said the argument arose because Hsu refused to return to Beijing with him at the time.
He also alleged that Hsu was the violent one in the marriage and would hit him with golf clubs and wine bottles while being in a drug-fuelled rage.
“There is proof and there were witnesses,” he said.
Wang and Hsu got divorced after 10 years of marriage.
