ALOR SETAR: The Domestic Trade and Consumer Affairs Ministry confiscated 100,000 packets of pre-mixed coffee with suspected counterfeit registered trademarks.

State director Muhammad Nizam Jamaludin stated that the raid was conducted on Monday (March 11) in collaboration with representatives of the trademark owner at a beverage processing and storage facility in the Mergong 2 Industrial Area.

"We seized 100,000 packets of pre-mixed coffee and a roll of plastic packaging bearing the suspected counterfeit trademark. The estimated value of the items is RM95,100," he said in a statement on Tuesday (March 12).
