Repair works on Tenom Pangi hydro plant cost RM60mil so far; on schedule to start operating next month

KOTA KINABALU: Repair works for the Tenom Pangi Hydro Power Plant, which was temporarily shut down following landslides and mud flood last year, has cost RM60mil so far.

Sabah Electricity Sdn Bhd chief executive officer Mohd Yaakob Jaafar in a statement here on Monday (Feb 5), said various challenges were also faced by the utility company when trying to do restoration works on the hydro power station.
